These achievements are rewarded in the form of differently colored belts, which can easily set you apart from the rest; less experienced Kung Fu trainers. Throughout this list, I hope you will find the many perks of knowing and mastering Kung Fu through different levels and the differences between the different kung fu belts that are rewarded. There are three different belt types though, which are novice level belts, intermediate level belts, and advanced level belts.  Here are the belts explained further.

The White Belt

When you first start out practicing Kung Fu, you will not acquire a belt. This may come as basic or common knowledge to you however, if you have researched Kung Fu prior before starting your training. The first belt that will promote your level and show your knowledge and experience level in Kung Fu. The white belt indicates low level knowledge and experience in Kung Fu.

The Yellow Belt

The yellow belt is a step above the white belt, which shows that you have gained more knowlegde and are moving on greatly through your Kung Fu training. Although, the yellow belt still represents your acquired skills at a novice level. Drills and basic strikes have already been learned by the possession of a yellow belt, as well as simpler forms that may be used for practice.

The Orange Belt

Similarly to the yellow belt, the orange belt is still awarded at a novice level. The orange belt is also rewarded for similar skills contrasting with the yellow belt, which is simple drills. The Blue Belt

The Black Belt

Finally, we have the black belt. The most iconic and therefore advanced belt, this is the level many Kung Fu trainers wish to achieve, while attaining many different skills along the way. Before attaining a black belt, you must know different attack stances and drills, as well as weapon training which comes in much later. In general, if you are able to master these skills then you can almost certainly guarantee yourself a black belt. Surprisingly, mental development and philosophy teachings are also included and are considered necessary for gaining a black belt. All of these skills require intense dedication and self devotion to the art of Kung Fu, so it will take some time in gaining experience and knowledge to finally get to this level and receive a black belt.

One of the most respected and widely known form of martial arts is Shaolin Kungfu. This ancient method also known
as Shaolin Wushu developed in China. It is believed that an Indian prince called Bodhidharma is the pioneer as he travelled to see the emperor but ended up settling there among the natives.

Shaolin Wushu is based on speed, precision and balance. It is widely practiced among the monks in China. The reason for training in this type of martial arts is to bring harmony to your mind and you attain self defence in case attacked.  You are not supposed to misuse it as per the teachings.  Here is a look at Shaolin King Fu.

The most basic and first step of training is balance. This is important as it is one of key factors of successfully defeating an opponent. Another basic training is endurance. For a successful winner, your endurance to some very extreme conditions counts.

Shaolin Kungfu has the following techniques :

1. Kicking

Different martial arts emphasize on kicking and Shaolin Kungfu is no different. This technique involves mastering how to use the legs and give the enemy a powerful blow no matter the style used.

2. Throwing

Through this technique, you can be able momentarily stun your enemy using powerful hit or push to make them fall to the ground. Before the recover you can use any tactic to hit a vulnerable part making them pass out completely or disabling them.

3. Wrestling

This technique is taught for close range combat where you and the opponent are holding each other. It involves knowing how get an edge over rival and overpower them.

4. Grabbing

In this technique, the emphasis is on taking the initiative to surprise your opponent by grabbing them unexpectedly
and dealing a fatal blow before they have even a chance to react.

5. Stances

This technique also known as defensive tactics is all about knowing how to repel the above techniques. They focus on how you can avoid being prone to either grabbing, wrestling, kicking and even throwing in order to be the one destabilizing your enemy.

The Chinese are very interesting people who love learning from nature and animals such as the snake, tiger, dragon, monkey and eagle. Some of the Shaolin Kungfu tactics are named after those animals.
